Overwatch Construction Management is providing schedule management for UC Santa Barbara for the construction of the new San Benito student housing development. Working with the university, design team, and CMAR, the Overwatch team is ensuring that the university’s goals for the housing project are met.
In addition to CPM scheduling, our team has participated in constructability reviews, created the RFQ for special inspectors and participated in the interview process, and collaborated with the independent cost estimator.
This project will add over 2,000 student beds, retail dining, and support spaces on 6.6 acres of land. In addition to the construction of new buildings, roads, bike paths, and parking will be added.
