The BRIC is a LEED Gold certified, state-of-the-art recreation center for students with an indoor rock climbing wall, basketball, volleyball, and racquetball courts, a perimeter running track and cardio center, and adjacent competition and recreational pools. Overwatch Construction Management (formerly fs3|Hodges) provided a full spectrum of construction management services for the Owner including commissioning oversight and Inspector of Record services.

Our team was responsible for inspection and quality control, reviewing and processing change orders, document control, and managing RFIs and submittals, daily photo documentation, special inspections, move management, and oversight of commissioning. This project was a phased construction of a multi-story building with on a constrained site. During the course of this project, the Owner came to trust us as a partner, protecting their best interests. They not only relied on our expertise, but counted on our consistency in facilitating communication and documenting work. All of these efforts combined to minimize their risk, and deliver a claim-free project.
